Moderato Workshop in a SINGLE ROOM
From Sunday 25 to Thursday 29 October, moderate level dance workshop
Détails du stage
Program of the Moderato October Dance Workshop with Vincent PARODI at the Clos des Capucins (Yenne), Sunday October 25 to Thursday October 29, 2026 This is a MODERATO-level workshop: Participants are expected to know the basic steps of Israeli dance and to have at least one year of regular practice. It is therefore not a beginner workshop, but an intermediate one where we take the time to learn and review. During this workshop, we will offer two sessions with two simultaneous workshops/two rhythms! While Vincent teaches new dances in one room, Amandine will offer at the same time, in another room, a “gentle” workshop, as she likes to call it! We will welcome you at the Clos des Capucins, a former convent surrounded by a large park, nestled in the heart of the Savoyard lowlands. The welcome is very warm, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is varied and of high quality. We dance in the former chapel, renovated with a very pleasant wooden floor perfect for dancing. Workshop schedule: On the first day, we will be expecting you from 2:00 p.m. for key handover and payment of the workshop. We start dancing at 4:00 p.m. On the following days: Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Warm-up with Christiane from 8:50 a.m. Dance: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Main class with Vincent Parodi Lunch at 12:45 p.m. Dance: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Workshop with Amandine or Anaïs 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.: Main class with Vincent Parodi 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.: Review of workshop dances with Vincent or Amandine 6:00 to 6:20 p.m.: Relaxation time with Anaïs Aperitif: 7:00 p.m. Dinner: 7:30 p.m. Evening activities from 9:00 p.m. The workshop ends after breakfast on the last day (10:00 a.m.)! As the workshops have shifted to a 4-day format, there will be no free afternoon in order to make the most of the time together — but of course you are free to take a break whenever you feel the need! What to pack: Your sweet or savory specialties—snacks or drinks to share—which will brighten up our breaks, aperitifs, and “cinquièmes.” Dance shoes and earplugs, as dance workshop evenings can sometimes run late and be quite lively! The dances learned will be filmed during the workshop. At the end of the week, you will receive a link or QR code giving you free access to the videos and music. Once again this year, we will be there with you: Amandine (workshops, dance reviews, evening activities), Anaïs (logistics, workshops, relaxation, etc.), and Marcel for logistics—and of course the aperitif!
