October Moderato Dance Workshop Program with Vincent PARODI at Le Clos des Capucins (Yenne) We will be around 60 dancers, mostly women! This workshop is at MODERATO level: Participants should be familiar with the basic steps of Israeli dance and have at least one year of regular practice. These are not beginner workshops but intermediate-level ones, where we take the time to learn and review. New this year! Twice during the workshop, we will offer two parallel sessions with two different rhythms! While Vincent teaches new dances in one session, Amandine will offer a "soft & gentle" workshop in another room. Le Clos des Capucins is a former convent surrounded by a large park, nestled in the heart of the Savoy region. The welcome is warm, the rooms are comfortable, and the cuisine is both varied and high quality. Dance classes and evening gatherings take place in the chapel of Le Clos, which has a wooden floor. Following our ancestral traditions, each participant brings a regional specialty (solid or liquid, sweet or savory, homemade or store-bought!) to share during evening gatherings or aperitifs. Workshop Schedule: Arrival Day • We welcome you from 2:00 PM for key distribution and payment. • Dance starts at 4:00 PM. Other Days • Breakfast: 7:30 – 9:00 AM • Warm-up with Christiane: from 8:50 AM • Main Dance Class with Vincent Parodi: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM • Lunch: 12:45 PM • Workshop with Amandine: 2:15 – 3:15 PM • Main Dance Class with Vincent Parodi: 3:30 – 5:00 PM • Review of workshop dances with Amandine: 5:00 – 6:00 PM • Relaxation time with Anaïs: 6:00 – 6:20 PM • Aperitif: 7:00 PM • Dinner: 7:30 PM • Evening gathering: from 9:00 PM Tuesday afternoon is free! The workshop ends after breakfast on the final day (10:00 AM). Recording Throughout the workshop, a designated person will record all the dances from the program and share them with you at the end of the week. This year again, Team Yenne will be there with you: Amandine, Anaïs, and Marcel! How to Get There? • The nearest train station is Chambéry SNCF. • If you need a ride from the station, please notify us 10 days before the workshop by email. A small contribution to transport costs will be required. Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation, deposits will be fully refunded, except for management fees retained by the website, provided the cancellation occurs at least one month before the workshop date. If the cancellation happens between one month and 10 days before the session, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. For cancellations made less than 10 days before the workshop, the full deposit will be retained. However, if you are replaced by someone from the waiting list, your deposit will, of course, be refunded.
