About the event

April Moderato Dance Workshop Program with Vincent PARODI in Camplong d'Aude (11).

We will be about 60 dancers, mostly females!

The workshop is MODERATO level: Knowledge of the basic steps of Israeli dance and one year of regular practice is required. These are not beginner workshops but intermediate ones where time is taken to learn and review.

The Paul Balmigère holiday village is located in the heart of the Corbières vineyards and at the foot of the sunny hills of the Alaric mountain. In a friendly and flowered space, comfortable cottages for 4 to 6 people are distributed like a small southern village (with its squares, its pétanque court...). It is highly appreciated for its calm and conviviality.

The dance hall is spacious and bright (no wooden floor). The varied, homemade cuisine prepared by a local caterer will delight your taste buds.

The nearest train station is Lézignan Corbières (14 km) and there is also an airport (Ryanair only) in Carcassonne (45km). We will organize transfers to the workshop location.

Following our ancestral traditions, each participant brings a specialty from their region (solid or liquid, sweet or salty, store-bought or homemade) for everyone to enjoy during evening gatherings or aperitifs. Refrigerators are available.

Workshop Schedule:

On the first day, arrival from 14:00 for key collection and workshop payment. Dancing starts at 16:00.

Other days:

The workshop ends after breakfast on the last day (10:00).

Regarding the cottages: bed linen is provided but not towels!

Each cottage has two or three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room with a lounge, an equipped open kitchen, and a private terrace. We provide breakfast (buffet) in the dance hall from 8:00, but you can bring your food and use the kitchen in your cottage if you wish!

To bring: Dance shoes, sneakers (for the dance hall), and earplugs, as evening events can be late and noisy. For the free half-day, bring suitable shoes, swimsuits, etc., for activities like napping, visiting, swimming, or walking.

Video: Throughout the workshop, a designated person will film all dances and share them at the end. Music and video files will be available via a link sent by email after the workshop.

Team Yenne includes Amandine (workshops, dance reviews, evening entertainment), Anaïs (logistics, warm-up, relaxation), and Marcel (logistics, aperitif).

Getting there:

- Nearest SNCF station: Lézignan Corbières (connections from Narbonne or Carcassonne). Notify us 10 days before via email for pickups. A fee is required. For departures, we recommend taking trains from 10:30 at Lézignan station.
