July Workshop at intermediate level n° 2 in single room

Intermediate Dance Workshops with Vincent PARODI at Clos des Capucins (Yenne).

We will be about 60 dancers, mainly females!

Clos des Capucins is a former convent surrounded by a large park in the heart of Savoyard country. The welcome is very warm, the rooms comfortable, and the cuisine varied and of high quality.

Dance classes and evening gatherings are held in the chapel of the Clos (with a wooden floor).

Following our ancestral traditions, each participant brings a specialty from their region (solid and liquid, sweet or salty, store-bought or homemade) to enjoy during the evening gatherings or aperitifs. Refrigerators are available.

Workshop Schedule:

- First day: Arrival from 14:00 for key handover and workshop payment. Dancing starts at 16:00.
- Other days:
  - Breakfast: 7:30 to 9:00
  - Warm-up with Christiane from 8:50
  - Dance: 9:30 to 12:30, Main class with Vincent Parodi
  - Meal: 12:45
  - Workshop: 14:15 to 15:15 with Amandine
  - Dance: 15:30 to 17:00, Main class with Vincent Parodi
  - Dance review with Amandine: 17:00 to 18:00
  - Relaxation time with Anaïs: 18:00 to 18:20
  - Aperitif: 19:00
  - Dinner: 19:30
  - Evening gathering from 21:00. Remember your specialties to share!
- Wednesday is a free afternoon.
- The workshop ends after breakfast on the last day (10:00).

To bring: Dance shoes, sneakers (for the wooden dance floor), and earplugs, as evening events can be late and noisy. For the free half-day, bring suitable shoes, swimsuits, etc., for activities like napping, visiting, swimming, or walking.

Video: Throughout the workshop, a designated person will film all dances and share them at the end. Music and video files will be available via a link sent by email after the workshop.

Team Yenne includes Amandine (workshops, dance reviews, evening entertainment), Anaïs (logistics, warm-up, relaxation), and Marcel for logistics and the aperitif.

Getting there:

- Nearest SNCF station: Chambéry. For pickups, notify us 10 days before via email. A fee is required. For departures, take trains from 10:00 at Chambéry station.
- By car: Directions provided from Lyon, Paris, Grenoble, and Annecy.
