July Workshop at intermediate level n°1 in a Single Room

Intermediate Dance Workshops in July, with Vincent PARODI at Clos des Capucins (Yenne).

We will be about 60 dancers, mostly female!

Clos des Capucins is a former convent surrounded by a large park, in the heart of Savoy. The welcome is very warm, the rooms comfortable, the cuisine varied and of quality.

Dance lessons and evening gatherings take place in the chapel of the Clos (with a parquet floor).

Following our ancient traditions, everyone brings a specialty from their region (solid and liquid, sweet or savory, bought or homemade!) that we will enjoy tasting during the evenings or at the aperitifs. Fridges are available for our use.

Schedule of the workshop:

On the first day, we expect you from 2 p.m. for key collection and workshop payment. Dancing starts at 4 p.m.

Other days:

Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Warm-up with Christiane from 8:50 a.m.

Dance: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Main class with Vincent Parodi

Lunch: 12:45 p.m.

Workshop: 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. with Amandine

Dance: 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Main class with Vincent Parodi

Review of workshop dances with Amandine: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Relaxation time with Anaïs: 6 p.m. to 6:20 p.m.

Aperitif: 7 p.m.

Dinner: 7:30 p.m.

Evening gathering from 9 p.m. Remember your sweet, savory snacks to crunch or drink and especially to share!

Wednesday is a free afternoon!

The workshop ends after breakfast on the last day (10 a.m.)!

Please bring: Dance shoes, sneakers (dance hall with parquet floor) and your earplugs, as the evenings of a dance workshop are sometimes late and noisy!

For the half-day off: bring shoes, swimsuits according to your choice of activities (nap, visits, swimming, walks...).

For the video: Throughout the workshop, a person we have informed will film all the dances of the program and send them to you at the end of the workshop. For music and video files, you can download them directly via a link sent by email at the end of the workshop.

This year again, Team Yenne will be there with you: Amandine (workshop, dance reviews, evening entertainment), Anaïs (logistics, warm-up, relaxation, etc.), and Marcel for logistics and the aperitif, of course 😉

How to get there?

· The nearest SNCF train station is in Chambéry.

If you need to be picked up, please inform us 10 days before the start of the workshop, by email. A contribution to the costs will be requested (about 10/15 euros per trip). We group arrivals at Chambéry station, with most trains arriving between 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., thank you for your patience. After 3 p.m., there are shuttles leaving near the station to Yenne every about 40 minutes. For departures, we ask you to take trains from 10 a.m. at Chambéry station, giving you time to pack your suitcase and return the keys at the Clos after breakfast, and for us to drive you to the station.
