April Workshop at Confirmed Level with Accommodation in Single Rooms

Here is the program for the Confirmed Dance Workshop in April with Vincent PARODI in Camplong d’Aude (11).

We will have approximately 60 dancers, mainly women!

The Paul Balmigère holiday village is located in the heart of the Corbières vineyards and at the foot of the sunny slopes of the Montagne d’Alaric. In a friendly and flowery space, comfortable cottages for 4 to 6 people are arranged like a small southern village (with its squares, its petanque court...). Highly appreciated for its calm and friendliness.

The dance hall is spacious and bright (no wooden floor). The cuisine, varied and homemade prepared by a local caterer, will delight your taste buds.

The nearest train station is Lézignan Corbières (14 km), and there is also an airport (Ryanair only) in Carcassonne (45 km). We will organize transfers to the workshop venue.

According to our ancestral traditions, everyone brings a specialty from their region (solid and liquid, sweet or savory, bought or homemade!) that we will enjoy during the evening gatherings or aperitifs. Fridges are available.

Workshop Schedule:

- On the first day, we expect you from 2:00 PM for key collection and payment. The dance itself starts at 4:00 PM.

- Other days:
  - Breakfast from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM
  - Dance: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Main class with Vincent Parodi
  - Lunch: 12:45 PM
 - Workshops: 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm with Amandine, Ariane, Vincent

- Review of the workshop dances with Amandine or Ariane: 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  - Relaxation time with Anaïs: 6:00 PM to 6:20 PM
  - Aperitif: 7:00 PM
  - Dinner: 7:30 PM
  - Evening gathering from 9:00 PM. Remember to bring your sweet or savory specialties to share!

- Thursday is a free afternoon!

The workshop ends after breakfast on the last day (10:00 AM).

Note for the cottages: sheets are provided, but not towels!

The cottage consists of two or three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room with a lounge, equipped open kitchen, and private terrace. We provide breakfast (buffet) in the dance hall from 8:00 AM, but if you prefer, you can bring your own food and use the kitchen in your cottage!

Please bring dance shoes, sneakers (the dance room has no wooden floor), and earplugs, as dance workshops sometimes have late and noisy evening gatherings!

For the free half-day: bring shoes and swimwear according to your choice of activities (nap, sightseeing, swimming, walks...).

For the video: Throughout the workshop, a person we have informed will film all the dances from the program and send them to you at the end of the workshop. For music and video files, you can retrieve them directly via a link sent by email at the end of the workshop.

This year again, Team Yenne will be there with you: Amandine and Ariane (workshop, dance revision, evening entertainment), Anaïs (logistics, warm-up, relaxation, etc.), and Marcel for logistics and the aperitif, of course! 😉

How to get here?

- The nearest SNCF train station is Lézignan Corbières (connections from Narbonne or Carcassonne).

If you need to be picked up, please let us know 10 days before the start of the workshop by email. A contribution to the expenses will be requested. We group arrivals at Lézignan station, between 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM, so thank you for your patience. For departures, we ask you to take trains from 10:30 AM at Lézignan station, which gives you time to pack your suitcase and return the keys and for us to take you to the station.

- To get to Camplong d’Aude by car:

Take the highway exit n°25 (Lézignan Corbières), then follow the direction of Fabrezan (cross the village) D212 and then take the direction Camplong d’Aude on the right D114. In the village of Camplong, follow the signs for the Clos de Mauzac restaurant (the holiday village is located right next to it).
