August Workshop at Advanced Level with Accommodation in Double Rooms

August Dance Workshop Program with Oren Ashkenazi and Vincent Parodi at Le Clos des Capucins (Yenne).

We will be approximately 65 dancers, mostly women!

Le Clos des Capucins is a former convent surrounded by a large park, in the heart of Savoy. The welcome is very warm, the rooms comfortable, and the cuisine varied and of quality.

The dance classes and evening gatherings take place in the chapel of Le Clos (with a wooden floor).

Regarding children at the workshop:

We remind you that children are under the responsibility of their parents throughout the workshop.

As we dance in the chapel hall and have limited the number of dancers for everyone's comfort, we ask you not to bring children into the chapel during the dance sessions. Another room will be made available for children to play and engage in activities, so that everyone can enjoy their time. We will offer one or two dance workshops for children during the week.

According to our ancestral traditions, everyone brings a specialty from their region (solid and liquid, sweet or savory, store-bought or homemade!) which we will enjoy during the evening gatherings or aperitifs. Fridges are available for our use.

The workshop schedule:

The first day, we expect you from 2 pm for key collection and workshop payment. The dance begins at 4 pm.

Other days:

Breakfast: 7:30 am to 9 am

Dance: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm Main course with Oren and Vincent

Lunch: 12:45 pm

Dance workshops (thematic): 2:30 pm to 5 pm

Revision of workshop dances: 5 pm to 6 pm with Oren and Vincent

Relaxation time with Anaïs: 6 pm to 6:20 pm

Aperitif: 7 pm

Dinner: 7:30 pm

Evening gathering starting at 9 pm. Remember your sweet and savory specialties to crunch or drink and especially to share!

Thursday is a free afternoon!

The workshop ends after breakfast on the last day (10 am)!

Please bring: Dance shoes and your earplugs, as the evening gatherings can be late and loud! We remind you that sheets and a single towel are provided in the rooms.

For the half-day off: bring shoes, swimsuits according to your activity choices (naps, visits, swimming, walks...)

An official video of the dances learned will be made during the workshop. You will have a link or a QR code at the end of the workshop to freely download the videos and music. Avoid USB sticks except in exceptional cases. Thank you!

This year again, the Team Yenne will be there with you: Amandine, Ariane, Noriane, and Fred (workshops, evening entertainment),

Anaïs (logistics, warm-up, relaxation, etc.) and Marie-Pierre, Maiwenn, and Marcel for specialties and aperitifs of course 😉!

How to get there?

· The nearest SNCF train station is in Chambéry.

If you need a pickup, please notify us 10 days before the start of the workshop by email. A fee will be requested (approximately 10/15 euros per trip). We group arrivals at Chambéry station, most trains arriving between 12 pm and 2:30 pm, thank you for your patience. After 3 pm, there are shuttles departing near the station to Yenne every about 40 minutes. For departures, we ask you to take trains from 10 am at Chambéry station, which gives you time to pack your suitcase and return the keys at Le Clos after breakfast and for us to drive you to the station.

from Annecy: Annecy-Aix les Bains motorway, exit VIVIERS DU LAC, direction LE BOURGET DU LAC then YENNE through the Chat tunnel
