August Workshop at Advanced Level with Accommodation in Single Rooms

August Dance Workshop Program with Oren Ashkenazi and Vincent Parodi at Clos des Capucins (Yenne).

We will be approximately 65 dancers, predominantly female!

Clos des Capucins is a former convent surrounded by a large park, in the heart of Savoyard country. The welcome is warm, the rooms comfortable, and the cuisine varied and high quality.

Dance classes and evening gatherings are held in the Clos chapel (with wooden floors).

Regarding children at the workshop:

Children are under the responsibility of their parents throughout the workshop. As we dance in the chapel hall and have limited the number of dancers for everyone's comfort, we ask not to bring children into the chapel during dance sessions. Another room will be available for children for their games and activities, ensuring everyone's enjoyment. We will offer one or two dance workshops for children during the week.

Following our ancestral traditions, each participant brings a regional specialty (solid and liquid, sweet or salty, store-bought or homemade) to enjoy during evening gatherings or aperitifs. Refrigerators are available.

Workshop Schedule:

- First day: Arrival from 14:00 for key collection and workshop payment. Dancing starts at 16:00.
- Other days:
  - Breakfast: 7:30 to 9:00
  - Dance: 9:30 to 12:30, Main class with Oren and Vincent
  - Meal: 12:45
  - Dance workshops (thematic): 14:30 to 17:00
  - Dance review: 17:00 to 18:00 with Oren and Vincent
  - Relaxation time with Anaïs: 18:00 to 18:20
  - Aperitif: 19:00
  - Dinner: 19:30
  - Evening gathering from 21:00. Remember your specialties to share!
- Thursday is a free afternoon.
- The workshop ends after breakfast on the last day (10:00).

To bring: Dance shoes, earplugs (as evening events can be late and noisy), bed sheets, and one towel are provided in the rooms.

For the free half-day: suitable shoes, swimsuits, etc., for activities like napping, visiting, swimming, or walking.

An official video of the dances learned will be made during the workshop. You will have a link or QR code to download the videos and music for free at the end of the workshop. Avoid USB sticks unless necessary. Thank you!

- Nearest SNCF station: Chambéry. Notify us 10 days before via email for pickups. A fee is required. For departures, take trains from 10:00 at Chambéry station.
- By car: Directions provided from Lyon, Paris, Grenoble, and Annecy.
